Your busy season is four weeks long
Build the Chicago CRM that survives it

Most CRMs are built for steady demand, which is not the business you run. A Chicago operator spends much of the year preparing and a few brutal weeks executing. We map how your team actually sells and dispatches across both, then build the pipeline around it and tag every source. Run from San Diego, serving the third-largest metro in the country.

02 · Benefits

Benefits of Custom CRM Development in Chicago

Chicago work arrives in bursts, and the systems that hold up in April tend to fall over in January. Across Chicagoland a pipeline that cannot tell maintenance from an emergency cannot help you triage the week that decides your year.

MARKETING → SALES → AUTOMATION → ATTRIBUTION
MARKETING SALES AUTOMATION ATTRIBUTION GoHighLevel HubSpot Salesforce ServiceTitan Jobber HousecallPro Clio CRM

Pipeline stages, source tagging, handoff rules, follow-up sequences, AI agents, and closed-won attribution, configured around how your team actually sells on any of these platforms or a custom build. Live data lands after your audit.

03 · What lands in your inbox

A written Chicago CRM audit, not a pitch

A 45-minute working session where we walk your existing setup, deal stages, automation, and historical data. You leave with written findings on where deals stall and where the data contradicts what leadership is being told, whether or not you ever hire us.

If the numbers do not support an engagement, we say so on the call. No forced platform migration, no rebuild for its own sake.

Single-channel CRM engagements start at $20K per month. Scoped after the audit.

01

A written CRM audit

Your deal stages, automation sequences, and historical data read end to end. Where deals stall, where follow-up breaks, and where the pipeline report disagrees with reality, all named in writing.

02

A sales cycle map in your team's words

Built from interviews with the people who actually sell and answer the phone. Your stages, your terminology, your handoff points, not a vendor's defaults.

03

A verified handoff

A recorded live training session, every automation verified in staging before it touches production, a one-page operating reference, and 30 days of founder-level data verification after launch.

04 · What we would run first

In Chicago, we do not replace your CRM, we rebuild the parts that are broken

The platform is almost never the problem. The configuration is. So the order is fixed: read what you have, map how your Chicago team actually sells, rebuild the pipeline around that map, and hand it off verified.

The audit comes first in writing, the sales cycle map comes from your team's own words, and nothing ships to production before it passes staging.

05 · On the ground in Chicago

There is no Chicago office, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Magister Digital is an operator-run team headquartered in San Diego, working across northeastern Illinois into Indiana and Wisconsin. We have no Loop address and no local account manager, and we would rather say that on the first call than let you assume otherwise.

What you get instead is the founders and the in-house team running your account directly. Every market we serve gets the same dashboard, the same weekly pipeline report and the same named owner per workstream. Being in the same time zone as your first cold snap has never been what makes the reporting honest.

06 · Why this is built differently

One team runs the whole stack in Chicago

Most agencies sell you a CRM configuration in isolation. We run it as the loop-back for every channel we operate: SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and AI agents feed leads in, and closed-won outcomes flow back to the channel that earned them, under one team and one dashboard.

Built for one of three verticals. Pick yours: home services, medical and dental, or legal.

07 · Questions Chicago operators ask first

The questions a careful Chicago buyer is already holding

Do Chicago businesses have to switch CRM platforms?
Usually not. We instrument what you already run, and if something genuinely blocks measurement we show you what it is costing before recommending a change. Migrations are expensive and they lose history.
Can you build from scratch if we have nothing?
Yes. If no system exists, we select the platform around how your team actually works, not around licensing cost. GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Clio, and custom builds are all in scope.
How does the CRM connect to our marketing?
The CRM is the loop-back for every channel we run. Paid media, SEO, and AI agents feed leads in with their source tag, and closed-won outcomes flow back to the channel that earned them. Attribution ends at revenue, not at clicks.
Who actually does the configuration?
Michael Merlino, Chief Strategist and AI Systems at Magister Digital and co-founder of Flowbots, owns the CRM work personally. It is not handed to junior staff once the engagement starts.
How do we know the data will hold after handoff?
You get the documentation, the field map and the automation logic in writing, and the system runs in your own instance throughout. Nothing sits in a Magister account you would lose access to.
Can it handle our Chicago seasonal swing?
That is usually the reason to build rather than buy. Routing, response windows and follow-up cadence can change with the season, so the same system can run a quiet April and a brutal January without anyone rewriting it by hand.
What does CRM development cost?
Single-channel CRM engagements start at $20K per month, scoped after the audit based on platform complexity and how much attribution architecture gets built. Full-stack engagements start at $60K per month.
